Suasana kerja minggu lepas teramat ler tersibuk sangat. Kena pulak aku baru baik demam tu hari.

Batuk, sakit tekak...kira badan aku kurang selasa ler time tuu. Ditambah pula dgn cuaca yg tidak menentu...kejap bahang panas, lepas tu hujan...

Ramai jugak yg sakit aku dgr. The flu virus spreading. So, aku nasihat kan korang jaga ler kesihatan tu. Kalo dah sakit, nak buat kejer pon susah.

Banyak jugak kejer aku postpone. Sumer aku tolak tepi. Kepala berdenyut jek. Nak focus pon susah.

Aku rasa next week kena double-up sikit. Baru jek buat a few appointments. Hopefully, I'll be better next week. It's going to be a long-long week for me, for us.

Sebelum sakit last Friday tu, aku sempat gie tengok wayang citer Indiana Jones. Alamak, sungguh mengecewakan! Citer dia too futuristic lerr. Aku tak soka. Aku lebih suka citer-citer lama Indiana Jones. Lebih exciting giler dari citer yg baru. Lagipon, story plot dia mengarut dan terlampau simple. Kekadang tu ader exaggerate sikit. Nampak sah, Harrison Ford tu dah tua. Aku rasa sepatutnya lah dia pencen jadi Indiana Jones. And hopefully, tamatkan ajer lah citer Indiana Jones tuu...

*uhuk*uhuk* - Adusss..masih sakit lagi nih. Nak blog pon takde mood. :(

La La La Kerjalah

Celik mata, kerja. Tutup mata, mimpi kerja. Yg penting kiter kerjalah, tak mencuri.

Hari nie pon kejer aku tersangat ler sibuk. Dari awal minggu nie, kerja tak habis-habis. Tapi aku suka ler kerja...kalo tak kejer nanti aku jatuh sakit. Pelik kan?

Sebenarnya aku memang mcm tu. Kalo sakit aku masih teruskan kejer. Kalo tak nanti makin sakit derr. Orang kater aku nie workaholic. Tapi sebenarnya bukan.

Bagiku kerja tu adalah sebahagian dari hidupku. Kerja tu adalah amanah. Kerjer tu adalah suatu kewajipan. Setiap kerjer harus dilakukan dgn seikhlasnya.

"Keihklasan itu akan membuka suatu jalan yang tersembunyi. Ianya tidak dapat dikecapi jika keikhlasan itu mengharapkan suatu pembalasan."

So, yg penting kiter kejer harus happy. Walopon mcm mana teruk dan jijiknya kejer kiter, kita harus bersyukur yg kiter mampu brdikari dan mempunyai pekerjaan.

Besok sambung kejer lagi. Bila aku nak berhenti dari buat kejer ek? Aku rasa tidak. Selagi sihat tubuh ku ini, selagi diizinkan umurku ini, aku akan terus bekerja.

Sometimes, some things are worth to ponder...

There are several simple reasons why many Singaporean employers are reluctant to give their maids a day off.

You see, if the maid runs away, the government will fine the employer $5,000. If the maid commits a crime such as shoplifting, the government will fine he employer $5,000. So if she runs away and shoplifts at the same time, is that $10K?

If the maid is caught having sex with someone, the government will fine the employer $5,000. If the maid gets pregnant, the government will also fine the employer $5,000. So either way, the employer gets screwed for the screwing she got.

If you didn't know any of the above, then either you do not employ a maid, or you didn't read the small print of the Manpower Ministry's work permit conditions.

Many employers are afraid that if their maid has a day off and gets into trouble, the employer will not only have to solve the trouble, but also have to fork out $5,000 as a free gift to the government.

Intuitively, this smacks of gross unfairness. The employer gets punished not for something he did, but for something that somebody else (the maid) did. Furthermore, once the maid leaves the employer's residence, the employer has no way of monitoring where the maid goes and what she does there.

We may draw a curious parallel with Mas Slamat's escape, and PM Leee's determined, if muddled, defence of Home Affairs Minister Wong Can't Sing in Parliament.

Mas Slamat ran away. But PM Leee said that Wong Can't Sing was not at fault and should not be punished in any way. The reason being that Wong Can't Sing personally did not do anything which allowed Mas Slamat to escape.

Strangely, if your maid runs away, it IS your fault and you SHOULD be punished. Even if you did not personally do anything to let her run away (apart from giving her a day off).

Similarly, if your maid becomes pregnant, it IS your fault and you SHOULD be punished. Even if you did not screw her.

Oh well. What can I say? Maids are not terrorists. But then you are not Wong Can't Sing. So the rules remain stacked against you. Wong Can't Sing gets off lightly, but you won't. Even if his lapse has far greater, and graver, implications than yours.

Your runaway maid wouldn't blow up Changi Airport, would she?

Another reason for teh tarik

If you had read last week's Sunday Paper, you may have come to some point of excusing yourself for longer tea-breaks.

Suddenly feeling a little bored...

...a final touch up, and YESS that's it! DONE!

The job which has hold back my life for the past weeks has finally paid off. Did some checks on the line works and zipped the files. Logged into my trusted PacNet and sent out to Sean..I hope he is happy with the job done. Wish him luck for his presentation review this Saturday.

I'm so relieved and feeling so bored out of sudden. Let's take 5 for a while and see what I've missed out. Updated my Facebook with Superpokes, accepting new friends, became Worker's Party supporters, blog hopping, read some emails....and I'm back feeling bored again...hmm, what shud I do next?

Logged into MSN but no one's home. Sedih seyy....opps, maybe me kena boycott oready lerr..

Ohyaaa...tadi masa kat opis, si Wati called. Cheria bunga mcm selalu. Bagus lah tu. Dia baru saja selesaikan cerpen tajuk "Roda-roda". Kisah seharian mereka yg bekerja sebagai pemandu. Aku tak tanyer lak kisah monolog dia tuh. Takut nanti panjang lebar lak dia cerita...hahaha. So, aku tanya kemanakah hala tuju cerpen dia tu nanti? Dia kater nak kasi kat satu production house utk dijadikan drama. Fuhhh...caya lah..

Aku tak kasi comment ler...cuma berikan dia semangat dan galakan jek. Semoga dia sukses dan teruskan berkarya sehingga berjaya masok TV.

Petang tadi aku gie minom dgn Wonderwoman. Dah lama jugak tak jumpa Superfrens. Sejak tengok wayang last 2 weeks, aku pon dah tak tersempat nak meet up dgn yg lelain tuh. Ermm..dia org tak nak celebrate WW nyer birthday ke? Gie makan ke..gie Karaoke lagi ke...gie Dangdut ke..oopss..heh!

Jumpa si Faishal kat Gila Movies tadi. Aku tanyer DVD Star Wars aku dah sampai ke blum? Dia kater lom lagi. Ok ler, call aku jek kalo dah meh. Bukan nyer aper, dah lama tak tengok citer sci-fi tuh. Rindu kat muka Darth Vader ler...hahaha!

Darth Vader : Eh?? Muka macam pernah ku nampak. Tapi dimana yah?

Besok pagi, aku dah start project baru yg lain lak. Alamak, Kak Lin lom siap kan drawing aku ler...ishhh, camna nie kalo client aku si Yvonne tu mintak?? Mesti nak kena drag lagi dateline nie..Haizz..besok terpaksa ler aku rayu kat Kak Lin suh cepat sikit. Nak pressure dia sangat pon susah ler. Nanti dia mogok tak nak buat, lagi aniaya aku...

Ok ler, aku stop temporarily kat sini. Nak kemas beg. Meja aku berserak nie. Cawan milo aku pon dah dinaik semut...eeiiii.

Minggu nie sungguh challenging skali. Kerja aku makin bertambah sampai tak terkata. Stress seyyy..

Was really hoping that everything will tone down by April. But sangkaan ku begitu meleset. Starting this week project kembali bertambah. Appointment aku pon bertambah. Dah 2 minggu tak sempat nak reschedule appointments. Ape nak buat, ek? Memang begini ler selalu.

But on a positive note, it will be a good sign for this industry. The government has projected that the construction industry will expand until the end of this year, while a few sectors will be shrinking slightly or stay stagnant.

But yet, badan ku makin letih. Jerawat pon dah start popping out akibat kureng tidor. Planning ku dlm sebulan nie hancur boncai derrr..

Semoga aku selamat mengharungi dugaan hidup...Amin.

ps : Nanti kalo aku free, aku sambung blog lagi. Skrg tak bole ler...tgh sibuzz tersangat!

Lynn, aku rela memaafkan dirimu, tetapi janganlah kau berani meramas-ramas tangan ku ini lagi. Aku tidak rela disentuh oleh dirimu...kerana kau seorang pondan!

MAD week!

This week is madness!!

GOSH! I never thought I'm going thru madness again...not so soon. Since Monday, life has been so miserable. Datelines, meetings, workloads all come at once. What my horoscope has written was true so far. So, here it begins a whole new cycle of my distorted life.

2 Sentosa Coves projects to oversee, 1 Jalan Adat, 1 Bridport, 4 Fort Canning, 1 Pulau Ubin, 1 Ulu Pandan...and the list just goes on and on and on and on and on....And I only got like about 2 weeks to clear them???

URA meeting this Thursday, and that will take half of my day. A trip back to client's office for briefing, and that another half day gone. So left with Friday. And that will be the only day for me to reschedule all coming appointments for the coming week....AAArRRGGGggHHHH...

Entering studio again mid-march and not sure if I will still survive? The month of March appointments are almost full. Ok Zue, it's all abt time management....stop complaining and focus to deliver will ya. SIGH!

hmmm...someone text me "Good evening, Where hv u been?" - Yoohooo...still here. Only glued to my desk. :P

So less time to Facebook, less time to do online chatting and the most @#$$%^ is to have lesser time to sleep. There goes my beauty sleep for the couple of weeks to come. :(

I don't feel well, already.

Tidak akan terputus rezeki seseorang...

Bangun pagi tadi, aku terus check email box. Berlambak2 org email kat aku. Maklom ler, cuti panjang kan. So, malas aku nak bukak email kat umah. But, tadi pagi aku dapat email dari sorang teman nie.

So aku nak share ler ngan korang sumer. Semoga ianya memberi manfaat kepada kita.

Sebelum terlupa…..just nak share apa yang dapat masa kuliah tafsir Sabtu baru ni…

Berdasarkan Hadith Nabi :

“Tidak akan terputus rezeki seseorang selagi dia tidak meninggalkan doa kepada kedua orang tua nya dalam sehari”

Huraian hadith:
- jangan sesekali meninggalkan doa kepada kedua ibubapa(baik yang hidup mahu pun yang sudah tiada)

- Allah akan memurahkan rezeki kepada mereka yang tidak putus berdoa kepada kedua ibu bapa(walaupun ada ibu bapa yang leka, doakan agar mereka berubah)

- Ingatlah bahawa keredhaan ibu bapa adalah keredhaan Allah

- Semasa berdoa, berdoalah dengan bersungguh2….tadah tangan dan bayangkan wajah kedua orang tua kita, termasuk guru2 kita dan mereka yang banyak menolong kita(berdoa perlu benar2 bersungguh2)

- Mereka yang lupa berdoa kepada kedua orang tua, akan disempitkan rezeki oleh Allah

Conclusions:

- Bagi yang berniaga, tak perlu ada ilmu pelaris….Cuma jangan lupa doakan ibu bapa kita setiap hari

- Rezeki bukan sahaja berupa wang ringgit, tetapi segala nikmat yang kita dapat dari Allah ( e.g. makan, kesihatan, ilmu dsb nya… )

I've reached my 101 post for this blogsite...phew!

Over the months, I've been rambling and crapping too much. But I don't care...this site is supposed to be unedited and informal, ryte?

Sometimes, I have to squeeze juice out of my brain to blog. Sometimes, it just flows out. And sometimes, there are too many things to blog about and you don't even know where to start from.

It's not always easy to blog about serious facts, so that's why I prefer to blog spontaneously or just impromptu. I'll talk just about everything. From fictions, to movies, to musics, day-to-day life events, to politics...bla...bla..bla..

Unlike my other blogsites, this space is like my little sanctuary zone. Infact, this blogspace is part of my little experimental project. The existance of this site is to see how far I'm communicating to myself and the people around me. Communication is part of our daily lives. Humans communicate variously. Be it with LANs gaming, internet messaging, phones, text messaging, emails; they are all forms or ways of interaction.

Thus, these form of knowledge management that we exchange ideas, we view perspectives of others, we discover new things, we meet new people and we understand about ourselves and others better. We improved our social skills and the most priority is that we foster friendships.

I've realised how powerful blogging is. How technology has improved so much that you don't need to be physically to be in office just to be at work! Unfortunately, there are people who think that blogging is just another reason to waste time and it just doesn't serve any purpose at all. Pity to those who don't blog and worse to those who abuse this wonderful invention.

There are always pros and cons to everything. But it's how we embrace technology to benefit ourselves in so many positive ways. Rants and rambles, your daily diary, your place to let out your feelings, are what people is generally stereotyping with blogging. But I do see other reasons that we can take advantage of this powerful tool.

I wonder what else can blogging do to your life?

That reminds me of something. I'm supposed to start a travel blog for someone, but she's not here at the moment.
