Wall paintings

Today, I'm totally exhausted!

Doing house painting has never been my favourite chore...and it will neber be!

First, you need to choose the colour. In other words, colours to suit the room. Here are some tips I'm gonna share with you.

Having some colour charts will help to get your colours coordination right

  1. Choose the right colour for the room. Smaller rooms should be painted with bright colours.
  2. Make sure the room furnitures match the colours chosen. (Colours of your sofa, tv rack, cabinets, etc)
  3. Just like your furniture designs, your room concept also plays an important part. (Contemporary, Modern Zen, etc.)
  4. Paint during daytime, when you are able to see the true colours. Not at nights, where room lights may affect the actual colours seen.
  5. Each stroke of the brush tells a story. So, don't rush when painting.

I personally chose Earth colours, this time round. It's gonna be Braken Brown. It'll go with my baju kurongs! Hahaha...

Half way thru the job...

Sometimes, you need to be super daring to explore with colours. If not, you'll end up with that same dull old colours and you will never notice any difference to your room. Wasted isn't need?

If you think you are not good at choosing colours, consult the professionals. Or else, you'll end up with a mess!

Lastly, get all the essential equipments ready and be focused! I bet, its gonna be a hard, hard day! :-P

Happy painting!
