CENCALOK : The final chapter

After 1 year, the chapters of CENCALOK has finally come to an end.

On this very date, a year ago, this blog was created to better understand myself and everything around me. I began to explore what has never been planned nor erradicate. A place I share my thoughts and views, without premidition and on the spur of the moment.

Here, not only have I shared part of my life, but passing strangers that became friends and shared part of their life with me. To each and everyone who pitched into the journey with me, I thank you.

I would have never thought my rants and ramblings have crossed far beyond its destined path. I'm truly glad that CENCALOK has inspired others and became abode for many souls.

CENCALOK has reached it's destination. It has been truly a great joy and experience. Shall miss every single moment I've shared here. On this malancholy note, I bid farewell to my CENCALOK.

Suasana kerja minggu lepas teramat ler tersibuk sangat. Kena pulak aku baru baik demam tu hari.

Batuk, sakit tekak...kira badan aku kurang selasa ler time tuu. Ditambah pula dgn cuaca yg tidak menentu...kejap bahang panas, lepas tu hujan...

Ramai jugak yg sakit aku dgr. The flu virus spreading. So, aku nasihat kan korang jaga ler kesihatan tu. Kalo dah sakit, nak buat kejer pon susah.

Banyak jugak kejer aku postpone. Sumer aku tolak tepi. Kepala berdenyut jek. Nak focus pon susah.

Aku rasa next week kena double-up sikit. Baru jek buat a few appointments. Hopefully, I'll be better next week. It's going to be a long-long week for me, for us.

Sebelum sakit last Friday tu, aku sempat gie tengok wayang citer Indiana Jones. Alamak, sungguh mengecewakan! Citer dia too futuristic lerr. Aku tak soka. Aku lebih suka citer-citer lama Indiana Jones. Lebih exciting giler dari citer yg baru. Lagipon, story plot dia mengarut dan terlampau simple. Kekadang tu ader exaggerate sikit. Nampak sah, Harrison Ford tu dah tua. Aku rasa sepatutnya lah dia pencen jadi Indiana Jones. And hopefully, tamatkan ajer lah citer Indiana Jones tuu...

*uhuk*uhuk* - Adusss..masih sakit lagi nih. Nak blog pon takde mood. :(

A tribute to Wings

Semalam member aku kata kat Planet Hollywood KL ader konsert sempena ulang tahun ke-21 kumpulan rock teragung malaya, WINGS.

Oh, dah 21 tahun lamanya aku mengenali Wings nie. Teringat juga dulu mula-mula kali aku berjinak mendengar lagu-lagu Wings.

Waktu tu usia aku baru mencecah 14 tahun dlm tingkatan 2. Memang ler waktu itu zaman kegemilangan muzik rock. Kumpulan Search memang ler dah hebat dgn "Fantasia Bulan Madu" nya. Tapi Wings? Siapa tu? Aku tak kenal pulak...?

Soroton zaman tahun 87 dulu...

Jiran sebelah umah aku, si Hamzah, ketuk tingkap bilik. Aku lak tgh syiok layan gitar kapok yg bapak aku belikan dulu...

Hamzah : Along! Along! (nama timangan aku ler) Bukak tingkap kao kejap ahh..Aku nak tunjuk sesuatu nih..

Aku : (Bukak tingkap) Aah?..apasal?

Hamzah : Kao bukak kaset nih. (Sambil hulur kaset Belenggu Irama kat aku dari luar tingkap) Kao play skrang jugak! Aku nak kao dgr lagu "Intan Ku Kesepian".

Aku : Kumpulan aper nih? Wings?? Ahahahah! (Aku ketawa pasal nama kumpulan nie mcm tak senonoh gitu - time tu ler!)

Hamzah : Lagu dia rock siakk...Kao baik dgr skrg. Aku pinjam kao kaset nih. Mlm nanti kasi aku balik.

So, dari situ lah bermulanya aku mengenali dan membesar bersama lagu2 Wings. Kini, setelah 21 tahun kemudian, aku masih lagi tetap mendengar lagu-lagu mereka. Kerana pada setiap lagu-lagu Wings, terpalit segala sejarah pahit dan manis dalam usia remaja ku.

Cerita berikutnya adalah kesinambungan dari cerpen, "Beliau ku panggil ibu - Part 1"

Keadaan suasana dimahkahmah sunyi menantikan ketua hakim memberikan keputusan.

Milah duduk berdebaran menantikan keputusan yg diharap-harapkan. Harapan beliau tidak pernah purnah untuk mengambil kembali Putri Balqis kepangkuannya. Siang malam beliau berdoa semoga apa yang diimpikan termakbul.

Manakala Salmah sedang memegang erat tangan Putri Balqis. Beliau tidak mahu berpisah dengan anak gadis itu. Anak yg telah dibela sejak bayi lagi, adalah satu-satunya permata yg tidak ternilai dalam hidupnya.

Walau bagaimana pon, hanya keputusan mahkahmah yang dapat menentukan siapakah yg harus dipanggil ibu.

Putri Balqis, sedar yg kedua-dua wanita itu adalah keramat dlm hidupnya. Tidak pernah dia termimpi yang suatu hari hidup beliau akan menjadi rebutan. Siapakah yang berhak dipanggil ibu? Milah, ibu kandung yang telah bersabung nyawa melahirkan beliau atau Salmah yang telah mendidiknya dan memelihara dgn penuh kasih sayang sebelum ini. Walau bagaimana pon, hari ini adalah penentuan. Hanya takdir yg akan menentukan segalanya.

Ketua Hakim membelek kertas putih ditangannya. Kertas yg akan menentukan nasib Putri Balqis. Keputusan yg akan merubah segalanya.

Milah memejam erat matanya yg berlinangan. Beliau berdoa semoga keputusan berpihak padanya. Manakala, Salmah memeluk Putri Balqis seerat-eratnya, seperti mungkin itulah saat terakhir mereka akan dapat bertemu.

Ketua Hakim: Setalah segala penelitian dan kajian dibuat pada setiap bukti yg dikemukakan, dengan ini, mahkahmah dengan sebulat suara, memberi hak penjagaan Putri Balqis seterusnya kepada ibu Salmah, yang telah selama ini adalah penjaga Putri Balqis yang sah.

Ketua Hakim : Keputusan mahkahmah adalah mukatamad.

Putri Balqis dan Salmah saling berdakapan dan menkucupi pipi masing-masing. Kesyukuran jelas terbayang keatas kedua-dua insan itu. Manakala Milah, terdududk hiba kerana anak yg pernah dikandungnya dulu tidak akan pulang kembali kepangkuannya.

Harapan Milah hancur berkecai. Milah sedar akan kesilapan beliau dahulu, tetapi sesalan itu tidak akan dapat menebus kembali kehilangan hak penjagaan anak kandungnya sendiri.

Begitulah berakhirnya sebuah Al-kisah yang benar-benar terjadi baru-baru ini.

Celik mata, kerja. Tutup mata, mimpi kerja. Yg penting kiter kerjalah, tak mencuri.

Hari nie pon kejer aku tersangat ler sibuk. Dari awal minggu nie, kerja tak habis-habis. Tapi aku suka ler kerja...kalo tak kejer nanti aku jatuh sakit. Pelik kan?

Sebenarnya aku memang mcm tu. Kalo sakit aku masih teruskan kejer. Kalo tak nanti makin sakit derr. Orang kater aku nie workaholic. Tapi sebenarnya bukan.

Bagiku kerja tu adalah sebahagian dari hidupku. Kerja tu adalah amanah. Kerjer tu adalah suatu kewajipan. Setiap kerjer harus dilakukan dgn seikhlasnya.

"Keihklasan itu akan membuka suatu jalan yang tersembunyi. Ianya tidak dapat dikecapi jika keikhlasan itu mengharapkan suatu pembalasan."

So, yg penting kiter kejer harus happy. Walopon mcm mana teruk dan jijiknya kejer kiter, kita harus bersyukur yg kiter mampu brdikari dan mempunyai pekerjaan.

Besok sambung kejer lagi. Bila aku nak berhenti dari buat kejer ek? Aku rasa tidak. Selagi sihat tubuh ku ini, selagi diizinkan umurku ini, aku akan terus bekerja.

There are several simple reasons why many Singaporean employers are reluctant to give their maids a day off.

You see, if the maid runs away, the government will fine the employer $5,000. If the maid commits a crime such as shoplifting, the government will fine he employer $5,000. So if she runs away and shoplifts at the same time, is that $10K?

If the maid is caught having sex with someone, the government will fine the employer $5,000. If the maid gets pregnant, the government will also fine the employer $5,000. So either way, the employer gets screwed for the screwing she got.

If you didn't know any of the above, then either you do not employ a maid, or you didn't read the small print of the Manpower Ministry's work permit conditions.

Many employers are afraid that if their maid has a day off and gets into trouble, the employer will not only have to solve the trouble, but also have to fork out $5,000 as a free gift to the government.

Intuitively, this smacks of gross unfairness. The employer gets punished not for something he did, but for something that somebody else (the maid) did. Furthermore, once the maid leaves the employer's residence, the employer has no way of monitoring where the maid goes and what she does there.

We may draw a curious parallel with Mas Slamat's escape, and PM Leee's determined, if muddled, defence of Home Affairs Minister Wong Can't Sing in Parliament.

Mas Slamat ran away. But PM Leee said that Wong Can't Sing was not at fault and should not be punished in any way. The reason being that Wong Can't Sing personally did not do anything which allowed Mas Slamat to escape.

Strangely, if your maid runs away, it IS your fault and you SHOULD be punished. Even if you did not personally do anything to let her run away (apart from giving her a day off).

Similarly, if your maid becomes pregnant, it IS your fault and you SHOULD be punished. Even if you did not screw her.

Oh well. What can I say? Maids are not terrorists. But then you are not Wong Can't Sing. So the rules remain stacked against you. Wong Can't Sing gets off lightly, but you won't. Even if his lapse has far greater, and graver, implications than yours.

Your runaway maid wouldn't blow up Changi Airport, would she?

It's ok to dream...

A dream is like sailing into fantasy. It brings you to a dimension which can be far beyond the world of reality. It motivates and sometimes it makes you feel that everything is so possible.

I once dream being a rockstar. I want to play in a rock band. I want to be a rock drummer. And I want to be the best among the best.

But not all dreams can come true. It has to be realistic in a way. Mine is only a dream. Absolutely just a passionate dream.

Beras naik harga, COE pulak yg turun!

Tadi aku gie NTUC cari beras. Cari punya cari, skali beras dah abes dahhh...kwang..kwang...kwang!

Lahh? Nak makan aper besok? Macam mana beras bole abes nih. Semalam aku tengok bertingkat tersusun kat corner tuh. Hari nie bole abis?? Aku pon gie ler outlet NTUC lagi satu cari beras...

Makkoo...beras ader, but harga naik!! Dulu aku beli 5kg baru $4.70. Skrg naik sampai $5.70. No wonder beras sumer habis! Dah lah tu, yg angkut beli beras bukan satu pack jek...ader sampai 1 trolley gamak nya!

Si nisha kater, mak dia stock 5 pack beras kat umah! Derrr...nak buat kenduri gak nyer..heh!

Kesian lah org yg macam aku nie. Bertimbang rasa lah sikit. Tadi bangla sebelah aku pon termenung kejap tengok harga barang komoditi nie naik harga. Dia nak beli yg mahal tak mampu, pasal org kaya dah sapu abes beras murah kiter...sungguh zalim.com!

Actually, kalo demand tak banyak dari supply, harga beras maybe quite bearable. But oleh kerana masyarakat dah start buat panic buying, so demand is more than supply. Worst when cyclone hit Myanmar nih..Beras exporter dah tak cukup beras utk di supply. Dia org sendiri makan tak cukup.

Aku bole bet, 2 minggu dari skrg harga beras naik lagi...Kalo org start panic buying lagi, musti beras aku boleh cecah $10 satu pack! huhu...Nie mcm nasi ayam aku naik $4 ler nanti.

Tak kisah ler beras naik harga, asalkan sardin dlm tin tak naik harga suahh, ok. :-)

Tengok citer kung-fu!

Petang tu kat opis tgh sibuk giler. Nak update drawings, nak buat plan rumah, nak submit kat authority....Isshh, kalo nak dekat holiday selalu jek mcm nie. Memula rancang nak kluar opis kol 5pm. Ingat nak gie Bugis Juction - shopping, skali at last TER-kuar opis kol 6.30pm.

Sampai kat Shaw Building dah kol 7pm. Spidey and the gangs dah tunggu kat Starbuck. Seb baik Kristina baik hati dah book kan ticket show siang-siang....kwang..kwang..kwang!

Kita tengok wayang citer kung-fu, The Forbidden Kingdom, kat Prince theatre. Dah lama seyy tak tengok citer kung-fu. Aku ingat citer cina, rupa nyer citer omputih ler.

Haiyaaahhh!! *Dush*Dush*

Gerek jugak ler citer tuu. Action-pack giler ahh. Dia nyer stunts, dia nyer magic, dia nyer dramatic, dia nyer bedek...terbang sana-terbang sini..Yg heran nyer, kiter sumer masih lagi idup, but heroine citer tu lak yg mati...hahaha! (Kesian)

The show abis kol 9.15pm. Oleh kerana tak sempat nak makan dinner, si Spidey ajak gie makan chinese food kat Tong Seng, Liang Seah St (opp Bugis Junction). Tu ler tempat yg paling 'happening' skali kat Bugis. Ader 'alfresco seatings' (outdoor tepi jalan lerr), where you kan makan under the moonlight....cewahhh!

Oleh kerana tpt tu 'posh' sangat, maka ramai ler manusia2 yg sedang bermakan2 kat situ. Stall assistant tu suh naik tingkat 2 yg ader air-con tu. But Kristina takmo. 'Die-die' jugak nak makan kat tepi jalan tu! Ader ler nunggu 5 minit cari meja. Skali ade ler couple melayu tu yg kesian tgk catwoman perot tgh sarat tu. Walopon kempen budi bahasa dah takde lagi, but yet, they still have the courtesy to give their seats to us.

Mcm biasa ler aku order makanan rasmi ku - Prawn Mee. Setiap kali gie situ, mesti order tu jer. Makanan lain aku tak minat.

Yg penting aku soka sangat Prawn Mee kat Tong Seng tuh. $3 jek...murah kan?

Sambil makan tu, dok ler berborak yg bukan-bukan. Dari hal kejer, ke hal reservist. Lepas tu sempat lak mengediks jap tangkap gambor. (Buat malu jek orang tengok.) Ahh..peduli aper. Kiter nak sumbat gambor banyak-banyak kat Facebook! So wat?? They got problem meh? *middle finger to them*

Lepas makan tu kan, Kristina blanja makan aiskrim lak..woohoo! Banyak ler dia blanja kiter hari nie. Oleh kerana aku nie sememangnyer pemalu, so aku eksyen malu-malu lah. Hahahah! (Tak nak makan konon...podah!) Abis jugak aiskrim Haagen Das tu aku kerjekan dgn si Dato' Razak. Licin sehingga menjilat meja! *Slurp*Slurp*

Another reason for teh tarik

If you had read last week's Sunday Paper, you may have come to some point of excusing yourself for longer tea-breaks.

Suddenly feeling a little bored...

...a final touch up, and YESS that's it! DONE!

The job which has hold back my life for the past weeks has finally paid off. Did some checks on the line works and zipped the files. Logged into my trusted PacNet and sent out to Sean..I hope he is happy with the job done. Wish him luck for his presentation review this Saturday.

I'm so relieved and feeling so bored out of sudden. Let's take 5 for a while and see what I've missed out. Updated my Facebook with Superpokes, accepting new friends, became Worker's Party supporters, blog hopping, read some emails....and I'm back feeling bored again...hmm, what shud I do next?

Logged into MSN but no one's home. Sedih seyy....opps, maybe me kena boycott oready lerr..

Ohyaaa...tadi masa kat opis, si Wati called. Cheria bunga mcm selalu. Bagus lah tu. Dia baru saja selesaikan cerpen tajuk "Roda-roda". Kisah seharian mereka yg bekerja sebagai pemandu. Aku tak tanyer lak kisah monolog dia tuh. Takut nanti panjang lebar lak dia cerita...hahaha. So, aku tanya kemanakah hala tuju cerpen dia tu nanti? Dia kater nak kasi kat satu production house utk dijadikan drama. Fuhhh...caya lah..

Aku tak kasi comment ler...cuma berikan dia semangat dan galakan jek. Semoga dia sukses dan teruskan berkarya sehingga berjaya masok TV.

Petang tadi aku gie minom dgn Wonderwoman. Dah lama jugak tak jumpa Superfrens. Sejak tengok wayang last 2 weeks, aku pon dah tak tersempat nak meet up dgn yg lelain tuh. Ermm..dia org tak nak celebrate WW nyer birthday ke? Gie makan ke..gie Karaoke lagi ke...gie Dangdut ke..oopss..heh!

Jumpa si Faishal kat Gila Movies tadi. Aku tanyer DVD Star Wars aku dah sampai ke blum? Dia kater lom lagi. Ok ler, call aku jek kalo dah meh. Bukan nyer aper, dah lama tak tengok citer sci-fi tuh. Rindu kat muka Darth Vader ler...hahaha!

Besok pagi, aku dah start project baru yg lain lak. Alamak, Kak Lin lom siap kan drawing aku ler...ishhh, camna nie kalo client aku si Yvonne tu mintak?? Mesti nak kena drag lagi dateline nie..Haizz..besok terpaksa ler aku rayu kat Kak Lin suh cepat sikit. Nak pressure dia sangat pon susah ler. Nanti dia mogok tak nak buat, lagi aniaya aku...

Was really hoping that everything will tone down by April. But sangkaan ku begitu meleset. Starting this week project kembali bertambah. Appointment aku pon bertambah. Dah 2 minggu tak sempat nak reschedule appointments. Ape nak buat, ek? Memang begini ler selalu.

But on a positive note, it will be a good sign for this industry. The government has projected that the construction industry will expand until the end of this year, while a few sectors will be shrinking slightly or stay stagnant.

But yet, badan ku makin letih. Jerawat pon dah start popping out akibat kureng tidor. Planning ku dlm sebulan nie hancur boncai derrr..

Semoga aku selamat mengharungi dugaan hidup...Amin.

Saying about being creative...

In the recent manhunt episode of Mas Selamat, telcos have also joined in the hunting race, sending pictures of Mas Selamat via MMS. It seems people are trying their best using every means to alert public on this recent spade.

Just like in TVs and movies, the conventional 'Wanted Man' pictures of the escaped detainee, are being splashed all around the island. At bustops, MRT stations, bus terminals and just everywhere, to catch the public eye and hoping someone will alert the police.

By staring at those boring 'Wanted' posters, do you think people will take notice? How long will we remember about Mas Selamat? 1 week? 2 weeks? Maybe 1 month the most. Then after that, we will go back doing our normal routines.

Singapore is always talking about being hip and creative. A place where people should think out of the box. So, why didn't the police take the initiative to be more outstanding and creative when spreading public awareness besides giving blunt and boring message to the public?

Browsing thru blogs, I could find some talented citizens who interestingly developed their own "Wanted" posters of Mas Selamat. Creatively designed, they are quite an eye-catcher to the public. It does look cute and funny but on the other hand, these are more the kind that will stick in people's mind for sometimes.

These are just some that I found. I believe there are still more interesting ones out there.

MAD week!

This week is madness!!

GOSH! I never thought I'm going thru madness again...not so soon. Since Monday, life has been so miserable. Datelines, meetings, workloads all come at once. What my horoscope has written was true so far. So, here it begins a whole new cycle of my distorted life.

2 Sentosa Coves projects to oversee, 1 Jalan Adat, 1 Bridport, 4 Fort Canning, 1 Pulau Ubin, 1 Ulu Pandan...and the list just goes on and on and on and on and on....And I only got like about 2 weeks to clear them???

URA meeting this Thursday, and that will take half of my day. A trip back to client's office for briefing, and that another half day gone. So left with Friday. And that will be the only day for me to reschedule all coming appointments for the coming week....AAArRRGGGggHHHH...

Entering studio again mid-march and not sure if I will still survive? The month of March appointments are almost full. Ok Zue, it's all abt time management....stop complaining and focus to deliver will ya. SIGH!

hmmm...someone text me "Good evening, Where hv u been?" - Yoohooo...still here. Only glued to my desk. :P

So less time to Facebook, less time to do online chatting and the most @#$$%^ is to have lesser time to sleep. There goes my beauty sleep for the couple of weeks to come. :(

Somehow, the last few days brought me back memories of my adolescent years where I grew up as a Mat Rocker.

Being a teenager in the late 80's to the early 90's, the influence of rock genre has really made dramatic impact to my life. The music i listened to, the styles i wore, made every part of me a Mat Rock!

here let me share a post done by someone who has painstakingly define the meanings of words/slangs used by typical mat rocks.

Truely hilarious but with good points of reference. If they have dictionary for Ah Bengs, we have these to feed your thoughts!

Gua [goo-wah] noun – What some mats and minahs use to call themselves. Similar in using “lu” when referring to others. A legacy that dates back to the times of Mat Rocks back in the early 80s.

A common trick that can be played on Mats is to ask them to translate the English phrase “Monkey Cave” into Malay. The mat will then say “Gua Monyet” (I'm a monkey).

Mat [mat] noun – To the rest of the world, the word simply means a Malay guy. But within the Malay community itself there is a growing disparity in consensus to its actual meaning. Popularly, it's used to denote a guy who converses primarily in Malay, as opposed to the more “English speaking” types. Favourites of the mats include tapered jeans, trucker caps and weepy Malay songs with sickeningly suicidal lyrics.

Matrep [mat-rape] noun – An extreme version of the mat. In addition to the usual mat accessories, a matrep will also come adorned with tattoos and matching body-piercings in weird corners of his body.

Minah [mee-nah] noun – An expression used to denote a Malay female. Derived from the popular Malay name, Aminah, which used to be all the rage some time ago. It was sort of the “in-thing” to name your daughter Aminah back in the 60s and 70s. In fact, legend has it that if you go to Geylang Serai market and shout “Hai Minah!” at least a quarter of the makcik population there is going to turn around and smile at you.

Picit [pee-chet] adjective – When a mat tells you to “picit” him, it does not mean that he is trying to be cheeky (or gay, if he is talking to a fellow mat). It simply means that the mat wants you to call him on his mobile. What were you thinking?

Relaksuah [ree-lek-soo-wah] adjective – Official slogan and life motto of the mats and minahs.

Sial [see- yal ] noun / adjective – A full stop in every mat's sentence. Eg: “Tadi aku nampak accident sial Rabak sial Aku tak bedek sial Kesian sial” Translation: Just now I saw an accident (full stop) It was bad (full stop) I'm not kidding (full stop) Poor guy (full stop)

In its purest form, “sial” means “jinx” but mats have refined the art of using the word to include it at the end of their every sentence. Also comes in the more polite form “siak” and “siul” for those who do not want to sound too crude.

Skank [s-kank] adjective - A favourite weird-looking dance performed by mats and minahs. Usually done at any of the various gigs that mats and minahs love to congregate at. At times, you do detect evidence of artistry in the dance but most of the time they just look like they've been possessed by the ghost of a restless retard.

Sowie [soh-wee] adjective – An expression of apology used by minahs. Commonly used in SMS and instant messaging. Actually they can just use the word “sorry” like every normal human being but minahs think that it will make them sound extra cute to deliberately talk that way. Example : “I will be late. Sowie!”

Step [se-tep] adjective – To beguile, dissimulate or impersonate something or someone that they are not. Also commonly used to describe a fellow mat or minah who acts in an arrogant manner. E.g.“Kau jangan nak step tak tahu eh?” Translation: Don't you dare feign innocence in this matter. Can also be used as a gerund e.g. “stepping”. See next entry.

Step Jambu [se-tep jam-boo] adjective - What minahs do when they are sitting alone in a train and a group of mats walk in. It is a general exercise where the minah “controls” her facial muscles and posture in a way that would make her look her best. This would usually involve looking incessantly at her handphone for no particular reason.

Stoppit [setop-eet] adjective – A general expression of intolerance and dismay. When a minah uses this phrase, be very careful for it signals that she is about to lose her cool or get very violent.

Usually directed by minahs in an annoyed manner, followed by the postfix “seh”, “siak” or “sial”. (See entry for “sial” above) Eg: Apasal ngan perangai kau hari ni? Stopitsiak! Transalation : What's up with your attitude today? Enough of it already for goodness' sake!”

During the mat rock era, tight jeans and hi-cut shoes were the most sought after fashion...and SUPER bikes were next! Now, I then realised how UgLY and RiDICULOUS I was...haha!

Tidak akan terputus rezeki seseorang...

Bangun pagi tadi, aku terus check email box. Berlambak2 org email kat aku. Maklom ler, cuti panjang kan. So, malas aku nak bukak email kat umah. But, tadi pagi aku dapat email dari sorang teman nie.

Berdasarkan Hadith Nabi :

“Tidak akan terputus rezeki seseorang selagi dia tidak meninggalkan doa kepada kedua orang tua nya dalam sehari”

Huraian hadith:
- jangan sesekali meninggalkan doa kepada kedua ibubapa(baik yang hidup mahu pun yang sudah tiada)

- Allah akan memurahkan rezeki kepada mereka yang tidak putus berdoa kepada kedua ibu bapa(walaupun ada ibu bapa yang leka, doakan agar mereka berubah)

- Ingatlah bahawa keredhaan ibu bapa adalah keredhaan Allah

- Semasa berdoa, berdoalah dengan bersungguh2….tadah tangan dan bayangkan wajah kedua orang tua kita, termasuk guru2 kita dan mereka yang banyak menolong kita(berdoa perlu benar2 bersungguh2)

- Mereka yang lupa berdoa kepada kedua orang tua, akan disempitkan rezeki oleh Allah

Conclusions:

- Bagi yang berniaga, tak perlu ada ilmu pelaris….Cuma jangan lupa doakan ibu bapa kita setiap hari

- Rezeki bukan sahaja berupa wang ringgit, tetapi segala nikmat yang kita dapat dari Allah ( e.g. makan, kesihatan, ilmu dsb nya… )

I was so tired that I slept quite early yesterday.

Exactly at 12 midnight, something weird happened. This computer of mine, turned on by itself. Though, I did not terminate the power source, but this incident has never happened before.

But what triggered it to start by itself?

A short circuit in the system? Electric shockwave from other appliances? Or is it just something paranormal?

I don't have a clue.

Movie Preview : Body #19 (Thai horror movie)

The most horrifying...ermm..salah!

The most 'horrible + terrible' horror film I've seen in my entire life!

Even before it ended, we were already confused in-between plots. Sad to say, this has been a BIG farking disappointment for Asian horror films.

Infact, after reading previews from others, I presumed they were totally confused and messed up too!

So where and what went wrong? Maybe, the director was too ambitious wanting to potray his creativity in recounting the whole epic, which not only failed to satisfy the craving horrific suspense of viewers, but also made the story full of twists and stumpers until the very moment it ended. When it's anybody guess, it's anti-climax.

We stepped out the cinema fishing questions without clues. You maybe watching the same movie, but having a very different acument.

However, the storyline was ok, the special and sound effects were commendable. But, if you asked me if its worth watching? I would say, NO.

Save your penny. Buy yourself a decent meal.

ps : Oh ya, btw, we went to Ayam Bakar Ojalali restaurant at Lucky Plaza just before the show. The food is good...I like!

Maal Hijrah, which is also called Awal Muharram, is an important day for muslim. It falls on the first day of Muharram on every Muslim calender year, which is the first day on muslim calender.

The meaning of Maal Hijrah in English is migration. On this day, Muslim remember Nabi Muhammad S.A.W migrate from Mekkah to Madinah on the year 622 A.D. Besides, Maal Hijrah also mean changes from bad to good side and can be said as starting point and evaluate inner-self on self achievement.

Awal means begining in English and Muharram is the first month of muslim calender. In another words, this is the first day in Muslim calendar. Therefore, this is also the new year for all Muslim.

This day has became an important religious day for all muslim. All the mosque will have solat sunat.
